The main objective of the Committee is to protect students’ rights, improve their social welfare, and promote their civic and social engagement.
The Student Trade Union Committee of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics was established in 1974. The Student Trade Union Committee (STUC) is a state-registered public organization operating within the university and uniting the student community. The STUC carries out activities in various fields with the aim of making student life more meaningful, engaging, and socially active.
The UNEC Student Trade Union Committee is also actively engaged in addressing students’ social issues. The organization provides financial assistance in various forms to students from low-income families. In order to ensure the effective use of students’ leisure time, camps, tours, and excursions are organized. Additionally, with the aim of developing students’ academic outlook and intellectual potential, the organization holds scientific and practical conferences dedicated to historically significant dates.
